1. What genre is this? Why?
A lot of action was taken place within the 'Regret' opening sequence, the slow motion of the action enlongated the film opening.
Drama was also presented when the character gets rid of a mysterical object that the audience do not know of. Here audiences imagination explores the possibilities of what may of happened.
2. What is the main plot?
As the title insinuates, the main plot of the opening sequence is Regret. We are able to see her remorse and it is evident when she is on the swing, it is clear to see she is reflecting on what she has done.
3. What enigma (mystery/puzzle/riddle) is created?
The black and white flashbacks hints to the audience of a horrific scene in which she later reflects about on the swing and how she is going to get rid of the evidence.
4. Using mark scheme, WWW?
The flashbacks- the use of black and white and the effect of slow motion makes it clear to the audience that it is a reflection of the scenario.
5. Using mark scheme, EBI (how could it be improved?)
Some parts of the slow motion scenes were a little bit to slow and lost interest. There was no clear resolution of how the character came to the idea of getting rid of the evidence and I think this could of been shown.
The ending could of been more intriguing by perhaps using dark lighting and more sinical and creating more of a mysterical atmosphere.
